Lost Chapters Theatre seeking shorts in response to their show, ‘Lies’

Lost Chapters Theatre is inviting writers to come and see their show “Lies” and submit a 5-10min script as a response to the show. It can be of any form -conversations, monologues, poems , or anything they haven’t thought of -all welcome!
The writing can be inspired by the story of the show, or the form, or the subject matter it discusses -as long as you can convince them that it is a response to the show.
“We want to make this opportunity to showcase new writing, and to make it a platform where creatives can meet and hopefully new work can be developed from here.”
How it works (in their words):
  • We’ll find the directors and actors for you (alternatively, if you are an actor-writer and you want to perform your piece yourself, please also let us know).
  • We’ll showcase the selected writings at a fringe theatre in central London in early September.
How to apply: you’ll need to see the performance of “Lies” on June 26-27 at 8pm. Tickets cost £8.
Submit your writing to lostchapterstheatre@outlook.com
More information: they’ll aim to notify the successful applicants by Aug 12. This opportunity is unpaid. However, each writer will get two complimentary tickets for the scratch night.
