Open script development and pitching workshop for writers of all
backgrounds with Justine Potter, Head of Development at LA Productions.
With more than 20 years’ experience in radio, TV and stage production,
Justine heads up the development slate of pilots, singles, series and
returners. She oversees ideas from initial concept right through the pitching
process to commission and re-commission.
The details of this event are:
Date: Friday, July 5th
Location: Media City
Duration: Three hours with a choice of two time slots: 10am to 1pm or
1.30pm to 4.30pm
Cost: £35 (This is a non-profit making workshop event as all costs
contribute towards the days running costs. They are always looking for great
screenwriters and this is an excellent way for you to connect with them).
During the workshop Justine will cover various aspects of development and
pitching including spec scripts, pitching to broadcasters and production
companies, what different broadcasters want, where to get support as you
develop and what is a hard sell.
The workshop is open to non-represented writers and thry welcome writers
of all abilities and backgrounds. This is an excellent opportunity for us to
meet you and for you to network with other writers.
