Opportunities – Pick of the Week: London Playwrights’ Workshop: Member Submissions Window – Send us your Plays!

Each week we look through our pile of writing opportunities to pick out one we think is particularly worth your time. It could be an innovative brief, great prize money, a high-profile company, or just plain fun.

This week’s pick: London Playwrights’ Workshop: Member Submissions Window – Send us your Plays!

Description: We’re really excited to announce our new submissions window where we we’ll be inviting our members to send us their plays. Whether it’s the the play you worked on for WrAP2021 or something you’ve been developing for a while – we want to read it! We’ll be reading and providing feedback on all plays which are sent to us. We’ll then use the process to identify plays we’d like to develop further and we’ll be offering opportunities to selected writers.

Why is it so great?  Well we’re so excited about reading your plays that we had to pick ourselves for our POTW! We’re inviting our members to send us their plays so we can read them all and create a selection of fantastic opportunities to help the writers develop their plays further. We’ve got lots of things in the pipeline for selected writers including mentoring, free workshops, live plays readings, and performance opportunities – we’ll be announcing more details about this during the coming weeks so watch this space! In the meantime, start getting your plays ready as the submission window opens on 1st March and closes on 14th April!
