Fevered Sleep is looking for an ambitious and talented individual who wishes to further their career in community participation and audience development within theatre, and who would like the opportunity to develop their professional practice through a bespoke BBC Performing Arts Fellowship.
Fevered Sleep makes work for adults and children in performance, installation, film, publication and digital art. Whatever they make, and wherever it’s found, they seek to provide experiences that encourage people to see the world in new and unexpected ways. They are looking for someone who wants to lead on the participation element of two key projects involving children in 2015.
The Fellowship: You have probably undertaken some form of internship or work experience in a professional arts organisation, and have had experience working on outreach, audience development or participation projects within the arts. Fevered Sleep will work with the successful candidate to create a Fellowship that suits their needs and ambitions.
The Fellowship will take place in 2015, if we are successful in our application to the BBC Performing Arts Fund. This is not a salaried position. The Fevered Sleep Fellow will receive expenses alongside a bespoke programme of training and development.
Please note the Fellowship will only take place if they are successful in our bid to the BBC Performing Arts Fund. The results of the Fellowship process will be announced in November 2014.
Eligibility: Please visit the job posting on their website to ensure you are eligible for the scheme
How to apply: Send a CV and a one page statement telling them about your experience, why you are excited by the opportunity and how you would like to develop your skills with Fevered Sleep to: admin@feveredsleep.co.uk. Interviews: 4 August 2014.
