A Friend of a Friend Productions, in partnership with Southwark Council, is proud to be working towards the second instalment of Blackfriars Stories. Following the success of October 2014’s Another Day, a site-specific promenade theatre production celebrating the area of Blackfriars, A Friend of a Friend continue their work with local businesses and residents.
As part of the 2015 season, they are looking for local playwrights to share their work. They will be staging and performing a selection of short plays written by the creative dwellers of the areas surrounding Blackfriars Road. There is no set theme, although plays inspired by the neighbourhood are preferred.
How to apply: Each script must be submitted as a single Word/PDF document. Please include a cover page containing the play’s name, your name, your email, and a full character list.
