pluck. theatre company seeking new play submissions

London-based theatre company pluck. are seeking new writing submissions for their next production.

pluck. are EJ Martin (Founder and Producer) and Philip Honeywell (Co-Founder and Associate Producer) – two actor-producers who got tired of waiting for the work they wanted to see, so plucked up the courage to get together and make it themselves.

pluck. exploded onto the London stage with a near sell-out run of award-winning writer Ed Harris’ tender and terrifying ‘The Cow Play’ at the Rosemary Branch in November 2014. They are now on the hunt for their next production.  They are keen to carve out a niche for themselves as a company who support the work of playwrights who are searching for a platform to present a piece of their work for the first time. pluck. would love to discover the next big thing before anyone else, and give someone the opportunity to have their work staged by a young and hard-working professional company in London.

You can peruse their website for a bit more information about the company, including some photos and reviews from ‘The Cow Play’:

What to submit:  They’re looking for a finished piece with a running time of 60 minutes or more, and with a mixed gender cast of no more than six. Other than that, they are wide open to suggestions of any kind!

If you think that someone might be you, please get in touch at pluckproductions@gmail.com before Monday 2nd March 2015.

Deadline:  Monday 2 March 2015

      Hi William,

We’d recommend contacting the organisers directly about how much (if any) they might be paying for this opportunity.

      Best of luck.
