Submit your script to Talawa Theatre Company
Talawa, Britain’s primary Black-led theatre company, is looking for new writers. They are expanding the opportunities they offer to artists, including:
– Talawa Writers’ Programme: three new commissions and a programme of development activities
– Talawa Firsts: a season of scratch performances
– Studio Firsts: research and development weeks for theatre-makers
Talawa is calling for scripts by new and emerging Black British writers, the script submission window is between 1st July and 31st July 2015.
How to apply: Please send your script along with a short covering letter telling them about you and your work to:

Each script is read by one of their readers and will receive feedback. They aim to respond to you within 3 months.
