The BAFTA Rocliffe New Writing Forum is open for the submissions of Children’s film and television.
This competition is open to all writers, resident in the UK or of UK citizenship. The extracts must have a focus on content for children. This includes feature films, single dramas, mini-series, sitcom, comedy-drama and animation. They are not accepting radio, theatre, magazine or game show format.
Three projects will be selected to be showcased at an event at BAFTA and given industry introductions.
Shortlisted writers will go on to be involved in a wide range of development opportunities including workshops and events. BAFTA & Rocliffe are looking for new talent that demonstrate industry potential.

You’ll need to fill in an application form which can be downloaded from their site and depending on what you’ve written, you’ll need to provide a synopsis/ treatment. They accept both email and postal entries. Entries cost £22 (email) £12 by post.
Deadline: 27 July 2015 (5pm for hard copies/ 10pm email)
