2016 BlueCat Screenplay Competition for short screenplays ($40 entry fee, $10,000 grand prize)

The 2016 BlueCat Screenplay Competition is accepting Short Screenplays between 1 and 49 pages in length.

All entries will receive script analysis.

What you pay:  There is an entry of $40 USD.  *Students are eligible to submit their short screenplays at a discounted $35 rate for the duration of the competition.

However, the fee goes up if you wait until later in the competition, as detailed below:

  • Call For Entries ($35 Entry Fee): Entries must be postmarked or received electronically on or before June 15th, 2015.
  • Early Deadline ($40 Entry Fee): Entries must be postmarked or received electronically on or before September 1st, 2015.
  • Regular Deadline ($50 Entry Fee): Entries must be postmarked or received electronically on or before October 15th, 2015.
  • Final Deadline ($60 Entry Fee): Entries must be postmarked or received electronically on or before November 15th, 2015.
  • Student Rate ($35 Entry Fee): Entries must be postmarked or received electronically by November 15th, 2015.

 

Prizes:

  • Winner $10,000
  • Three Finalists $2000
  • Best Movie Title $250 (Three Winners)

Deadline: 1 September 2015 (early bird fee); 15 October 2015 (regular deadline fee); 15 November 2015 (final deadline fee)
