BAME Seed Commission from Camden People’s Theatre

Camden People’s Theatre is offering a new seed commission to artists from BAME (Black, Asian and minority ethnic) backgrounds to create a new ‘scratch’ performance (up to 25 minutes long) as part of our Autumn 2016 programme.

What you get:  Each artist will receive £750 towards producing the work. These commissions are being offered specifically to those from BAME backgrounds in recognition of the fact these artists are currently underrepresented in contemporary theatre.

How to apply:  If you would like to submit a project proposal, please complete the application form (downloadable below) and send to Anna O’Dell at anna@cptheatre.co.uk (subject field ‘Autumn seed commission’).  They are unable to accept CVs, portfolios, scripts or anything other than the formatted application form. Please get in touch with Anna if you have questions.

Please note, they will only accept a PDF of the application form, downloadable below. No additional documentation will be accepted. Before submitting an application, please read the information document in full.
