Opportunities: Our Pick of the Week – Shakespeare in 400 Competition with Arts North Norfolk

Each week we look through our pile of writing opportunities to pick out one we think is particularly worth your time. It could be an innovative brief, great prize money, a high-profile company, or just plain fun.

This week’s pick:  Shakespeare in 400 Competition with Arts North Norfolk

Description:.To get everyone involved in the international festivities of 400 years since Shakespeare, Arts North Norfolk is inviting people of all ages and across the UK to submit a very short synopsis of a Shakespeare play – in 400 characters! Remember your story has to be between 300-400 characters and you can use the character count in a Word document or use online tools to count characters in text like the one on this link.  The character limit is including all letters, numbers, spaces and grammar.

So, what’s so great about it? Well, we couldn’t let Shakepeare’s 400th anniversary pass without giving it a mention so we thought the opportunity seemed fitting this week! It’s a fun one too so if you are looking for a writing challenge, why not have a go at coming up with a super short synopsis for a Shakespeare play!

Please note, we’ve posted this for your convenience and we’re not affiliated with the organisers of the opportunity in any way.
