Soggy Brass open for comedy submissions at Southwark Playhouse (paid)

Soggy Brass, Velvet Trumpet’s night of new comedy writing, is open for submissions and you have a chance to win £50 for your short funny.

 The effervescent Soggy Brass says: “Ladies and Gentleboys, the sell-out spectacular that is Soggy Brass makes a rousing return to the mighty Southwark Playhouse on Sunday 12 March.

“Thus with much fanfare, do we royally declare ourselves open for submissions. And once again every writer selected to take part will receive the sum of 50 English pounds.”

What to submit: All pieces must be comedic new writing. Running time of 10-15 minutes. Please submit only one piece.

Submissions must work as stand-alone theatre pieces not  sketches. Your submitted piece must not have been performed in London within the last 3 months.

It is preferable for you to have a cast and director attached however Soggy Brass can help you find creative counterparts should you need assistance.
