Miscellany Theatre Productions are seeking love stories for their next project My Irish Love Song, which will premiere in 2018. Stories can be any length and submitted until August 2017.
Stories can take any form, including poetry, prose, dialogue or monologue, but the story should be real. Stories should also be accompanied with a love song suggestion.
Everybody has a love story. Everybody has a favourite love song. Some have a happy ending, some have a sad ending. Some never end.
This is an opportunity for you to take time out and think about that someone or something special, and to have it immortalized in art. All kinds of love stories are encouraged, and no, you don’t have to have an Irish passport to submit; though story details may be changed to reflect an Irish setting.
Stories and songs can be submitted (anonymously, if desired) on via the website. The website also includes writing tips, information on the creative team, and terms and conditions.
