Theatre Exchange Birmingham is looking for new writing for inclusion at Theatre Exchange on Monday 18th November. This is an open brief however the piece must be intended for Theatre. The event will be held at The Old Joint Stock Pub and Theatre, Birmingham, UK.
What to submit: Please include:
- your chosen extract which is no longer than 10 minutes (8-10 pages)
- short synopsis
- character breakdown
- your CV

What you get: For the opportunity to sit in on a two hour rehearsal of your piece with actors and a director followed by a rehearsed reading in front of a supportive audience who will provide written feedback.
In addition, if chosen for the 18th November you’ll be automatically put in the mix for The Best of Theatre Exchange, a new writing showcase planned for Summer 2014. One piece from the Old Joint Stock event will be selected along with two more pieces from subsequent events in January and April.
