Aberdeen Performing Arts seeking submissions for Climate Action scratch night

Aberdeen Performing Arts is seeking script submissions for their next Scratch Night on 20 March 2018.

They are inviting submissions of short scripts, spoken word, or new music all inspired by climate action.

Submission guidelines: Script submissions to their Scratch Nights are open to anyone. Scripts must be no longer than ten minutes and written for between one and three characters. If you are a spoken word artist or up and coming comedian, please submit samples of the work you are interested in performing.

They welcome scripts from Scotland, the UK and internationally, scripts are chosen primarily based on quality and relevance to the theme but priority is given to writers from the North-East of Scotland, in line with APA’s aim to support local artists. If you are a local artist please highlight this in your email application.

Chosen scripts will be rehearsed in the day and performed on the evening of the 20th March at The Lemon Tree, Aberdeen.
