The St. James Theatre is delighted to announce its new initiative designed to support emerging theatre talent and to start a creative conversation with its audiences, St. James RE:act.
They are inviting applications from writers, directors and theatre makers in the early stages of their career, to respond to the story, themes and characters within McQueen for the inaugural St. James RE:act evening.
St. James RE:act brings together four emerging writers, directors and a group of actors wanting to create a new piece of theatre. Written/devised in 24 hours, rehearsed at quick fire speed and performed on the stage of St. James Studio on Saturday 16th May in front of a paying audience, these impulsive pieces will be a perfect companion for James Phillip’s McQueen.
How to apply: The application form can be downloaded from the initiative’s website. Please email your completed application form to studioprogramming@stjamestheatre.co.uk with the subject line, RE:act – McQueen.
