BBC Writersroom and National Theatre Wales are delighted to announce a live and interactive Q&A taking place on Friday, 20 May… and you’re invited!
Anne Edyvean (Head of BBC Writersroom), Bethan Jones (Acting Head of Drama, BBC Wales) and Kully Thiarai (Artistic Director of National Theatre Wales) will be talking about the Wales Drama Award and revealing what the industry is looking for and the best ways to deliver it. So, even if you’re not entering the Wales Drama competition, if you’re serious about a career in writing, this should interest you.
The panel will be interviewed onstage before a Q&A with questions from the audience. After the Q&A there’ll be refreshments and an opportunity to mingle and meet members of the panel and other industry insiders.
Tickets are free! To get yours, visit the booking page now! Please note, spaces are limited.
The event takes place at BBC Broadcasting House, Cardiff, but even if you can’t make it to Wales, you can still take part! The whole event will be streamed live on this site, so you can watch the session and even get involved by tweeting #WalesDramaAward with a comment or a question for the experts that we’ll put to them during the Q&A.
