The next window for DRAMA and COMEDY DRAMA scripts will be open from Thursday 9th December 2021 at noon to Thursday 13th January 2022 at noon.
The BBC run a Webinar to give you the full details about the Open Call opportunity – it is currently fully subscribed but if there any more places available due to cancellations, they will announce it on their social media page so keep an eye out for it! The webinar date is Thursday 2nd December 2021, at 12.30-1.30pm.
Each Open Call the BBC announce has a deadline, following which the scripts received are assessed intensively by their script readers and the BBC Writersroom team. Then a shortlist is drawn up and various opportunities are offered to the shortlisted group of writers including the Drama Room and Voices development groups.
