Book, Music & Lyrics is accepting applicants for its Librettists’ workshop and its First Year Composer/Lyricist workshop to begin in September 2023. BML is recognised by ACE as ‘the only organisation in Britain’ offering this training, and ‘good value for money’ for the participants. All facilitators are working industry professionals, in a programme offering professional development focusing on craft skills, professionalism, and collaborative practice.
Applications will be accepted from 1 June through 30 June, 2022, with auditions in July. Each workshop consists of 34 weekly sessions between September 2022 and July 2023. All sessions are in-person (at the YMCA, Great Russell Street, WC1) and streamed through zoom. The cost is £450 and bursaries are available. All sessions are fully accessible.
They are running two Taster Sessions:
One on Wednesday 31st May – 6-8pm in-person only at the YMCA, Great Russell Street, WC1.
