Broken Glass Theatre Co are excited to announce the return of Short Fuse on 10  January 2014 at the Camden Head.

A free platform for the work of young and new theatre practitioners, Short Fuse is now looking for proposals for complete performances, or extracts from new works, of approximately 15-20 minutes in running time. Proposals should be no more than 500 words in total, detailing the nature of the performance, cast size, and any particular large props or set pieces.

About Short Fuse:  Short Fuse began in 2009 as an experiment in poor theatre: the recreation of a basic space through performances which do not rely on expensive devices but on the ingenuity and talents of their performers. They are particularly interested in works which explore new approaches and performance techniques, or span performance genres. Previous evenings have included puppetry, mime, physical, and live sound-tracked performances, as well as first performances of new writing.

How to apply:  Please send proposals to shortfuse@brokenglassplay.co.uk.

Deadline: Saturday 16 November 2013
