Call for submissions: Messy Collective presents… Live Reads: Women on the Edge
Messy Collective are seeking work-in-progress pieces for their new writing night showcasing feminine reflections on society & culture at The Glitch in Waterloo, part of the VAULT creative arts space.
This is an opportunity for writers to hear their works-in-progress read by professional actors in front of a live audience, and to use the reverse Q&A to ask questions to help shape future drafts.
Submitted pieces should be extracts or shorter pieces (10 pages max for scripts, 3 pages max for prose) that would benefit from a live read and conversation. Work should relate to the theme and meaningfully centre narratives from women, NB, Trans or other under-represented communities.
