Cast Iron Theatre in Brighton run a regular script-in-hand rehearsed reading of short plays in Brighton. They are currently seeking new scripts for their next show, to be performed on March 18th 2026. Full details of what they’re looking for (and what they’re not) is on the website. The deadline for scripts (and expressions of interest for potential actors) is January 30th.
- The event will be held in Brighton, but submissions are welcome from across the world.
- Scripts should not have any personal info attached to them, and Cast Iron require only one script per writer.
- Between 1 – 4 characters, and age/gender blind where possible
- There will be a nominal profit share, based on a points system, split between writers, actors, producer and director.
