🤔 WHAT IS ELEVATE COMEDY?
Much like our TV Drama edition, this is our way of finding the best new comedy writing talent and putting them directly in touch with exciting, experienced and working industry professionals.
🕺🏻WHO IS IT FOR?
This is for all you TV comedy writers out there who feel like you’re ready to enter the industry. Perhaps you’ve written a few scripts, you’ve sent them into a few places but you don’t know where else to start. Well this is for you.
🔍WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We’re asking the writers in our community to submit a TV COMEDY SCRIPT and a ONE PAGE PITCH so then our troop of professional readers can whittle it down to a final five finalists.
We’re looking for writers to demonstrate not only an exciting voice with a clear, vibrant and professional style but also an intriguing idea that has real potential in today’s TV comedy market.
🏆WHAT’S THE PRIZE?
Once we’ve selected our five finalists we’ll set you up on various online sessions where you’ll meet a selection of top industry professionals to meet, greet and discuss your work in detail.

💰How much does it cost?
Submissions for our free community members is £40 and for our Scribe Lounge Pro Members it’s £20.
Why is it not free? Because we hire top professional readers to find the very best talent out there.
