This is an opportunity to submit your play to Fifth Word, who work with new and fast rising playwrights, through commissions or open submissions. They were recently appointed associate artists at Oxford Playhouse and welcome unsolicited scripts submissions from the UK or Ireland for consideration for future productions.
They want to read stories relevant to the world around us today, from the perspective of those that often go unheard, that resonate with new and younger audiences. Please note they only accept submissions through their online portal.
In addition to unsolicited scripts, they also welcome invitations to a production or scratch/ work in progress event showcasing your work, as well as proposals sent from agents.

when I try to access the Fifth Word web page my Bitdefender security flags the following the warning:
Suspicious page blocked for your protection
https://fifthword.co.uk/productions
Your connection to this web page is not safe due to an unmatching security certificate.
This means that the certificate was issued for a different web address than the one it is being used for, and you run the risk of exposing your data by accessing this page.
If I persist and attempt to access the site regardless, I get a further warning that it contains “dangerous URLS.”
I’m interested in submitting material to this producer but am understandably wary while these warnings persist. Perhaps the site has been hacked without the owner’s knowledge?
