Green Curtain Theatre are offering writers with an Irish heritage the opportunity to have their writing performed. This is as part of their latest theatre project to mark the centenary of the ending of the Civil War in Ireland in June 1923 and the hostilities that preceded it.
The competition is open to anyone over 18 resident in Great Britain who has a parent, grandparent, or great grandparent who was born and lived in Ireland in the last 100 years.
- Entries must be written in the first person and be no longer than 300 words.
- The name and contact details of the writer must be written on a page separate to the entry.
- All entries should be sent to competition@greencurtaintheatre.co.uk
Winners will be notified by Thursday 30th November 2023. The selected pieces will be recorded by the end of January 2024.
The competition is free to enter.
