Do you write horror? Jacks Lantern Productions Ltd are looking for short film, TV & theatre horror scripts from Yorkshire based writers.
They are setting up their first rehearsed reading / scratch night and are looking for writers to take part.
It is planned for Friday 19th August 2022 at the Victoria Quays hotel in the centre of Sheffield. This is a fully accessible venue and they will have socially distanced seating.
They want Yorkshire based writers to send in their short horror film, TV or theatre scripts that they would like to hear read aloud by actors. Perfect for writers who have never had their scripts performed.

The team (Joleen and Peter) will choose a selection of short scripts and will spend the day rehearsing with the actors and writers. Lunch will be provided.
There will then be a public rehearsed reading of the scripts that evening 7-9:30pm.
The writers and actors will receive a profit share from the tickets sold.
They will prioritise creatives from underrepresented backgrounds as their company mission is to support and promote underrepresented creatives. This will be their first event but if they get a lot of interest, they will certainly plan more!
There is a bar in the foyer and a chance to network before and after the event.
