Lonely Penguin looking for new writing for first scratch night (unpaid)

Submissions are now open for Lonely Penguin’s very first scratch night. This is an unpaid opportunity for writers and performers to share their new material to an audience of fellow creatives on Saturday 26th of September evening (having been moved from the 9th of May due to the Covid sitch) located at the Streatham Space Project.

To apply email contactlonelypenguin@gmail.com using the following template.

In the subject of your email they suggest:

“Submission-[your name]”

and in the email body:

Title and Author: “[title of piece] by [name of the author]”

Length: (length of piece in minutes)

Form: (eg: monologue, extract scene, song etc)

No. of Performers: (the number of performers in the piece)

Then a couple of sentences about yourself and your work up to about 50 words and any links to material you have performed in the past that you’d also like them to see. Lastly, don’t forget to attach a PDF of your script!
