Ouch runs the disability part of the BBC website and a podcast on the BBC with a focus on disability and diverse stories.
Your disability tales are wanted for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe! They are looking for unusual, complex and humorous stories just waiting to be told … and they are here to help you tell them.
They are holding their fourth BBC Ouch storytelling event at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in August. The theme this year is Lost and Found – interpret that at your will.
All they ask is that the story is true, you are disabled or have a mental health difficulty, and that your story incorporates this. If chosen, you’ll get to work with a top comedy script producer and perform it in front of an audience at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this August. It will also be filmed. You must be free to be there on 5th August 2019 (accomodation is available and UK travel funding if required).
