LPW Online Workshops: Re-invention: Writing for Zoom

Back by popular demand! This 2 hour workshop will explore inventive ways of utilising Zoom as a platform for dramatic writing; considering digital performance as a medium of it’s own – when we ran this recently, it sold out, so we decided to run it again in October.
This one off session led by London Playwright Workshop’s Literary Projects Manager George Bailey will delve into the possibilities, limitations and provocations of crafting characters, situations and worlds in face-to-face digital theatre through group exercises and discussions. From the workshop, you will receive brand new skills and a better understanding of the potential Zoom has on offer, as well as the alternative avenues you can take when writing for the platform away from the expected mainstream.
Date: 4 January 2021 5pm-7pm
Cost: £13 non-members/ £9 members (not a member yet? Sign up here!)
Deadline: not applicable but places are booked on a first come first serve basis and bookings close 48 hours before the workshop begins.
