Manhattan Repertory Theatre seeking playwrights who want to self-produce/finance their work (fees $795-$6,000)

In the past year, Manhattan Repertory Theatre has produced over 40 plays in Midtown Manhattan as part of this new Program from playwrights across the country and around the World.

They are currently accepting new projects.

Slots available:

• June through September for Short Plays and 10 Minute Plays
• August through December for Full-Length Plays

Fees:

• For a 10 minute play with 1 to 3 characters: For Manhattan Rep to put up your production in one of our short play events for two performances the fee will be $795.00
• For a 11 – 20 minute short play with 1 to 3 characters: For Manhattan Rep to put up your production in one of our short play events for two performances the fee will be $995.00
• For a 21 – 35 minute 1 act play with 1 to 4 characters: For Manhattan Rep to put up your production in one of our short play events for two performances the fee will be $1295.00
• For a Full – Length play with up to 6 characters: Fee based on the play and the play’s production requirements.  Fee ranges from $4000.00 to $6000.00 and up depending upon the play length, and the requirements for your production, and how many performances you wish to have.

What to submit:  Please include:

• the complete play as a .pdf,
• a synopsis of the play,
• the approx. running time,
• set and lighting requirements,
• your contact email address,
• your mailing address,
• and your contact phone number
