Master Raconteur is running a day workshop with National Theatre playwright Simon Vinnicombe covering dramatic action, scene writing and structure.
Master Raconteur is a non for profit organisation offering writer training. Its remit is to give people access to industry professionals at the cheapest price possible.
About the playwright: Simon Vinnicombe began his career with the Royal Court’s Young Writers Programme. His first two plays Year 10 (2005) and Cradle Me (2008) opened at the Finborough Theatre. Year 10 was named Time Out Critics’ Choice and subsequently transferred to the BAC and the Festival Premieres second edition, a festival by the Theatre National de Strasbourg and Le Maillon and as part of the Brittany International Theatre Festival in 2006. Simon’s other work has been produced at the Bush Theatre, Union Theatre, Edinburgh Festival, Southwark Playhouse, the Old Vic Theatre, the Manhattan Theatre Club, New York City and on BBC Radio 4. He currently teaches screen and stage at the University of Hertfordshire.
