Description: This paid opportunity offers the Writer in Residence the opportunity to spend 10 days per term ‘in residence’ within Putney High School, and to serve as a creative writing champion.
So, what’s so great about it? Writing can be a lonely process, and this is a wonderful opportunity to embed yourself within a community and help inspire young people about creative writing. You’ll also have the bonus opportunity to make use of the school’s brand new performing arts centre. Additionally, the £5,000 per annum fee can provide an enormously helpful boost of support for an emerging writer.
