Each week we look through our pile of writing opportunities to pick out one we think is particularly worth your time. It could be an innovative brief, great prize money, a high-profile company, or just plain fun.
This week’s pick: LPB is recruiting!
Description: London Playwright’s Blog is in the process of expanding our team, to provide even more great content for our readers and community. We’re interested in hearing from self-starters with a passion for writing and interest in leading within an online community. We’re currently recruiting for two roles: an Editor and an Intern and if you fit the bill, we’d love to hear from you!
What’s so great about it? Well, hopefully, if you’re reading this post, you already think our our website, and our organisation, is great! By joining our team, not only would you be helping us to expand the work we already do for playwrights, but you’d also have the chance to gain valuable hands on writing experience and be credited on our blog (you’ll also be involved in some of the super exciting projects we’ve got coming up at LPB!)
If you want to know more about what it’s like to work at LPB (and confirm that we are nice people to work with!) then check out this lovely article from our last intern, Hector Dyer, who supported us last year through the Dark Horse Festival at London Writers Week.
Both roles are very different so do read the details and if either of them match your skill-set and interests, get in touch! The deadline is for applications is coming up on this Friday 23 June and you can double check what you need to send us here). We look forward to hearing from you!
