This week’s pick: Pint-Sized Plays Writing Competition 2023
Description: Ever wanted to write a play which could be performed in a pub? Read on for how you can get your pint sized play on stage!
Why is it so great? There are ten winners in this competition and they have their plays performed in selected pubs in Pembrokeshire during September – and then go on to be performed at their Script Slam at Theatr Gwaun in Fishguard where the audience get to vote for their favourite script – and the overall winner will walk away with the coveted Pint-pot (with a half-pint for the runner up). Plays have to be between five and ten minutes long, with no more than three characters and be able to be performed in the actual bar area of pubs!
