This week’s pick: Plays Rough seeking writers for 24 hour play challenge!
Description: Selected writers will be put together into teams to produce a 10 minute play in 24 hours for performance at the Old Red Lion.
What’s so great about it? It’s not often we come across an opportunity that challenges writers to come up with a play in 24 hours so we thought this one was worth a mention! We think this looks like a great way to flex those playwriting muscles and to a rise to writing challenge whilst getting the chance to meet other likeminded creatives. Not only that, the plays get a performance at the Old Red Lion Theatre so it’s also a good opportunity to see your work on the London stage.
Even the application process for this one is a little bit different – you’ll need to apply with your CV and respond to a stimulus they send to you in order to be considered. Why not go for it? You’ve got until 15 October to send in your CV and then you’ll have 72 hours to respond to the stimulus.
