Opportunities – Pick of the Week: Queens of Cups – New Moon Monologues: accepting submissions on theme of ‘The Witches You Couldn’t Burn’

Each week we look through our pile of writing opportunities to pick out one we think is particularly worth your time. It could be an innovative brief, great prize money, a high-profile company, or just plain fun.

This week’s pick: Queens of Cups – New Moon Monologues: accepting submissions on theme of ‘The Witches You Couldn’t Burn’

Description: March’s theme for New Moon Monologue will be “The Witches You Couldn’t Burn” and feature female, non-binary and queer artists. They are looking for poems, monologues, spoken-word pieces, song, or pieces of solo choreography (or anything that one person can do).

Why is it so great? If you’d like a chance to have your work performed at the Space Theatre, then check out the latest opportunity from Queens of Cups. For the Next New Moon Monologue,  they are asking writers to donate £3.33. The fee is £33 and every monologue will receive feedback!  Submissions are due by the new moon on the Full Snow Moon on Wednesday, February 16th.
