Page to Stage: Lightning Writes | Writing Development Course

Purple String Productions are looking for 10 early career writers who are working-class, D/deaf, disabled and/or neurodivergent for PAGE TO STAGE: LIGHTNING WRITES, a free to attend professional development programme.

The programme will support writers over 5 days to create the beginnings of a new monologue or dualogue for the stage, alongside industry-led workshops, 1-2-1 support, and the opportunity to work with actors on their pieces. The week will culminate in a showcase of short excerpts of the writer’s work, and participants will get a filmed copy of their piece in action.

The course will run at BOLD Elephant (London) from 28th July – 1st August. This opportunity is open to writers and the writing-curious of all ages 18+.
