Pentabus New Writers Group (16-25 year olds)

Are you aged 16-25? Are you interested in writing stories for the stage?

Through a series of FREE workshops Pentabus Theatre will teach you the principles of great playwriting. You will learn about the basic rules of playwriting and creating work for the stage, tutored by professional playwrights, actors, directors and designers. The 9 month programme is FREE and ends with the professional production of the each of the Young Writers’ short plays in summer 2020.

The sessions are open to anyone who has an interest in creative writing, storytelling, film making, and writing for performance or theatre. There’s no need to have any writing experience to join, just a keen interest in storytelling and a need to talk about how we live.

Sessions will run in Oswestry at the Qube and in Shrewsbury at The Hive.
