Pulse 98.4 want your funny monologues for theme ‘A Day to Remember’

Want to hear your writing being read on the radio by some well known Scottish names? Pulse 98.4 want your funny monologues. The theme is A Day to Remember. You can take that to mean anything you like. Just spread some comedy joy. The winning six entries will be broadcast on the arts show on Pulse FM. And they’ve got some fabulous folk lined up to do your genius justice.

The Nitty Gritty

Your monologue should be from 3 to 5 minutes long, (that’s around 400-700 words). They’ve kept it flexible so you don’t have to worry about stretching your story to hit 5 minutes exactly.

It’s a monologue so one actor will read your piece. Entries need to be typed and saved as a PDF, but they’re not too fussed about the format.

Please include your name and email address at the top of your entry so they can get in touch with you if you’re one of the winners. As they’re on the radio they can’t have swearing. But you can swear all you like when you’re writing it.

Winners will be notified by 20th and broadcast from May onwards (Unfortunately they won’t be able to notify you unless you’re a winner and they’re not able to issue feedback on any entries).

Send your A Day to Remember monologue PDF to pulseartsonair@gmail.com
