Stichin’ Fiction has announced a new writing night where creatives are challenged to cast, rehearse, and perform in the course of a single evening in a free workshopping environment.
Stitchin’ Fiction says: “Writers with words stuck in their laptops and notebooks are given a pool of performers, who want to work and stretch their collaborative muscles and skills.
“It celebrates the bizarre, applauds the avant-garde, and revels with risk-takers – with new writing that aims to affect.”
What to submit: Submissions should be between ten and fifteen minutes. You provide the words for the actors, and collaborate with the resident director on the night – Monday 24 April 2017- at The Boogaloo, 312, Archway Road, London, N6 5AT.
How to apply: Download a registration form here with a bit of information about yourself and experience – Stitchin’ Fiction has had writers ranging from first-timers to soap writers – and a character breakdown so they can best match your actors for the event. Send it to stitchinfiction@gmail.com with Stichin’Fiction: Writer in the subject field.
Deadline: Saturday 13 April at noon
