RAFBF are looking for 10-25 minute radio plays on the Battle of Britain

As we get ready to mark the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Britain, The Royal Airforce Benevolent Fun are giving you the chance to honour the brave men and women that served our country by having your Battle of Britain-themed play turned into an audio drama.

All you need to do is submit a play retelling a fictional account of the Battle of Britain via the link below. The winner’s audio drama will feature as a bonus episode for the next series of our All Stations podcast.

Requirements:

  • Your play should be between 10 minutes to 25 minutes in performance length (10 minutes equals around 10 pages).
  • Please include a cover page which should be the first page of your play and this page should include the title of the play, your name and the names of your characters and who they are.
  • The following should be capitalised and centred: scene headings, stage directions and sound effects.
  • Please capitalise the names of your characters and please use spacing between each character’s dialogue.

Please read their competition terms and conditions and apply here.
