RBL, Reading’s multi-award-winning theatre company, are now taking entries for their annual new writing competition, Find a Reading Writer.
Writers will be competing to be the fourth writer in RBL’s annual sell-out event, Off the Block and for the competition will have 6 hours to write a short play inspired by a stage direction given to them by the company directors. All entries are submitted by 4pm of the same day and shall then be read by RBL’s team of discerning professionals. The winner then joins the professional team of writers, whose plays are performed on Friday 24th May at South Street Arts Centre.
