Volume II of Rich Creative’s feminist scratch night: The Female Gaze & Other Stories is now in development.
Their second evening is subtitled Volume II: Written On The Body.
They want to showcase stories about the body: from pregnancy to eating disorders to the sexualisation of the body in the media to how we change and transform our physicality for art or sport.
Writers’ Guidelines
They are looking for stories that shine a light on how bodies are represented in contemporary society. They are particularly interested in pieces by BAME writers and/or pieces that include BAME characters.
Your piece can either be a short play or an extract no longer than 15 minutes (longer pieces will not be considered). As always, you must include at least 1 female character/character who identifies as female and include no more than 4 roles.
They will provide feedback and support for the writers, and organise a director and cast.

Selected pieces will be showcased on 27th June in London at The Cockpit Theatre. The evening is produced by Rich Creative as part of the Girls On Fire season.
