The school for Poets is a new learning platform for individuals looking to build careers as professional writers. We offer courses designed around a curriculum that is specifically designed to provide writers with practical tools for writing, editing and performance.
All courses are ran online via email and an online forum. Students will receive resources and exercises for each class via email. They based on 5 sessions ran over a 7 or 11 week period.
Students will have 1-2 weeks to complete the exercises and submit them to the teachers who will in turn have 1-2 weeks to provide feedback.
Students and teachers will also have access to an online forum for each specific course where they can discuss the activities and get feedback from their peers.
Person Specification: They’re looking for writers and educators with a proven track record in teaching poetry, writing, editing and performance to all age groups. You will have experience working as a professional writer and believe in developing quality in the craft.
