With its 2023 applications currently in reading, the Scribe Playwriting Competition (partnered with Play Submissions Helper) is currently taking submissions for its 2024 competition.
They invite playwrights from around the world to submit new full length and one-act plays or musicals into the competition. The winners of the competition receive the prestigious Marsha A. Croyle Award for outstanding achievement in playwriting and an in-depth Zoom video interview. They are currently in discussion with a venue in western Pennsylvania to provide live, staged readings of the winning plays.
