We are now accepting script submissions for our Dear Black People Scratch Festival.
When submitting a play it should be no longer than 15 minutes. This can be a short play or an extract from a longer play. If you are submitting an extract, it should be able to stand on its own.
All plays must have minimal set, lighting & sound.
The performances will take place at The Pleasance Theatre, London on the 5th & 6th of July.
What we offer:
• A chance to showcase of your play at The Pleasance Theatre London on their Main House stage
• All playwrights will be given £150 in expenses to use for the production
• All Playwrights will be provided with the opportunity to have rehearsal space at Hidden Viewz leading up to the show. We will arrange slots with each team.
• Our team at Excellence can attend a rehearsal and offer feedback prior to the show
• Promotion on all of our social media platforms
• Written feedback from audience members a month after the show
