Would you like to have your TV, radio, podcast or film script performed live before industry guests? Thanks to the National Lottery you can submit free to our competition.
SIK Table Read challenges UK based writers to create a script of no more than five minutes in length. Submissions can contain up to three characters, and they must be based in one location. The theme for this competition is New Year’s Eve 2020. We will accept submissions from one of the four genres: comedy, drama, horror, and thriller (or a hybrid of two combined).
Selected submissions will, no doubt, comprise of scripts which include conflict, tension, emotion, and be led by interesting characters.
Selected scripts will be table read by professional actors over zoom in front of industry guests. Writers will receive direct feedback from our industry guests, and there may be the opportunity to network with them at the end of the table read.
