Square Peg Scripts is an exciting new playwriting opportunity for neurodivergent writers. If you’re passionate about theatre and want to gain experience and develop your skills in writing for performance, they want to hear from you!
How it works: between November 2018 and April 2019, six neurodivergent participants will take part in a series of writing workshops led by established playwrights, and will each work on an original short play. Each participant will be matched with a mentor, and will receive one-to-one support and feedback throughout the writing process. All participants’ individual needs will be met, and they’ll cover travel and accommodation costs.
The finished scripts will be performed by professional actors in a public showcase in April 2019.
Who can apply: to be eligible to apply, you must identify as neurodivergent, be aged 18 or over and live in England or Wales.
