TestLab are not prescriptive in the plays they consider, asking only that they have never before been professionally performed. They say: “We ask you to consider your audience and what impact this would have on touring your work should you choose to take your production further.”
They look favourably on work:
-For or about children and young people.
-That utilises actor/musicians.
-That comments on their locality (Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the Humber).
-That comments on the way we live now.
-With an eye for aesthetics.
