The Caromoon Collective
The Caromoon Collective is a four month writing programme.
Eight writers will be selected to take an idea and craft it into a full length play. Over the course of four months writers will share their work, learn and mentor each other and write furiously in the background. The aim of the Collective is to make writing a collaborative and not a solitary task. A safe space to grow and develop and learn from peers, whilst committing to finishing a full
length play in four months and concluding with a showcase of a short section in a fringe London Theatre.
What is the Collective?
– You commit to write one full length play in four months.
– We meet once a month for 3 hours in person in London.
– You write week to week and be prepared to share your work and creative support to others.
– You arrive with new work to each session and you leave with monthly targets and notes.
– Every writer is paired with a different writer each month for feedback inside the room and offline during the month.
– By month four you have a draft of a full length play.
– A showcase is held in a London fringe venue where writers can read an extract of their work to friends, family and
collaborators.
– The Collective is free and funded by Caromoon Productions.
The collective is open to all UK residents who are over 18 years old. For more information on the Collective and how to apply,
